The News
Big Health has raised $23.7M in a strategic funding round co-led by .406 Ventures and AlleyCorp, with participation from CVS Health Ventures, Blue Venture Fund, Sandbox Clinical Ventures, Gilde Healthcare, and Supermoon Capital. The funding will accelerate commercialization of its FDA-cleared digital therapeutics, SleepioRx and DaylightRx, which are among the first treatments covered under CMS’s new Digital Mental Health Treatments (DMHT) reimbursement category.
The investment follows CMS’s introduction of Medicare reimbursement for FDA-cleared digital mental health treatments, creating new opportunities for provider adoption. To date, Big Health has supported more than 750,000 individuals, with clinical studies showing improvement in 76% of SleepioRx users and 71% of DaylightRx users. The company is also expanding deployments through health system partnerships, including Henry Ford and Northwell.
Industry Perspective
The emergence of Medicare reimbursement for FDA-cleared digital mental health treatments marks a significant milestone for digital therapeutics. As demand for accessible, evidence-based mental healthcare grows, reimbursement pathways are expected to accelerate adoption of clinically validated digital treatments across healthcare systems.
Strategic Impact
The financing strengthens Big Health’s position in the digital therapeutics market by supporting broader commercialization of its FDA-cleared products. Combined with CMS reimbursement and growing provider adoption, the company is well positioned to expand access to scalable, evidence-based treatments for insomnia and anxiety while advancing digital mental healthcare integration into routine practice.
