Cerebral Acquires Inflow to Expand Digital ADHD Care and Continuous Patient Support

Overview

Cerebral has acquired Inflow, a personalized ADHD digital therapeutic app, to strengthen its integrated mental healthcare platform and expand continuous support for patients with ADHD.

The acquisition combines Cerebral’s clinical services with Inflow’s CBT-based digital tools, enabling personalized care beyond appointments while supporting long-term skill development.

The News

Cerebral has acquired Inflow, a digital therapeutic platform designed to help adults manage ADHD through evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles. The acquisition enables Cerebral to extend ADHD care beyond therapy and medication management by offering patients personalized daily lessons, skills-based exercises and habit-building tools between clinical visits.

The combined offering aims to improve long-term patient outcomes while reducing the overall cost of care through continuous engagement. The acquisition comes as adult ADHD prevalence has increased from approximately 4.4% historically to 6.0% in 2023, while nearly 36.5% of diagnosed adults in the U.S. receive no formal treatment, highlighting a significant unmet need.

Both companies will continue operating as separate platforms. Inflow users seeking therapy will gain faster access to Cerebral’s clinicians, while Cerebral expands its ADHD care continuum from diagnosis and treatment to ongoing digital support.

Industry Perspective

Digital therapeutics are becoming an important complement to traditional behavioral healthcare by extending support beyond clinical appointments. ADHD management, in particular, benefits from continuous behavioral interventions that reinforce coping strategies and long-term habit formation.

Strategic Impact

The acquisition strengthens Cerebral’s ADHD treatment portfolio by integrating digital therapeutics with clinical care. By combining therapy, medication management and personalized digital interventions, the company aims to deliver more comprehensive, continuous care while improving patient engagement, outcomes and long-term resilience.
