QuantHealth Raises $45M Series B to Scale AI-Powered Clinical Trial Simulation Platform

Overview

QuantHealth has raised $45 million in a Series B financing round led by Qumra Capital, with participation from Sanofi Ventures and other investors.

The funding will accelerate the adoption of QuantHealth’s AI-driven clinical trial simulation platform, helping biopharma companies optimize and de-risk trials before patient enrollment.

The company also plans to expand its AI capabilities, product portfolio, workforce, and therapeutic coverage.

The News

QuantHealth announced the successful close of a $45 million Series B funding round led by Qumra Capital, with participation from Pitango HealthTech, Sanofi Ventures, Artofin Venture Capital Fund, Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments (BHI), GC Ventures, NewHealth Ventures, Shoni Top Ventures, and Esplanade Ventures. The company will use the proceeds to enhance its AI models, expand scientific validation and datasets, increase therapeutic coverage, grow its workforce, and broaden its platform across the clinical and commercial development lifecycle.

QuantHealth’s AI-powered platform enables pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to simulate and optimize clinical trials before enrolling patients, reducing reliance on historical benchmarks and trial-and-error approaches. To date, the company has simulated more than 600 clinical trials across 30 indications, achieving up to 90% predictive accuracy, and plans to expand coverage to more than 40 indications, including oncology, cardiometabolic diseases, and inflammation. The funding comes as the industry seeks predictive technologies to improve trial success rates, with over 90% of clinical-stage drug candidates failing, largely due to efficacy and safety challenges.

Industry Perspective

AI is rapidly transforming clinical development by enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the drug development process. As pharmaceutical companies seek to reduce development costs, shorten timelines, and improve trial success rates, AI-powered simulation platforms are emerging as valuable tools for optimizing clinical trial design and commercial strategy before significant resources are committed.

Strategic Impact

The Series B financing strengthens QuantHealth’s position in the growing AI-enabled clinical development market, enabling the company to expand its predictive simulation platform across additional therapeutic areas and development stages. By advancing simulation-first clinical development, QuantHealth aims to help life sciences organizations reduce risk, improve trial efficiency, and accelerate the delivery of new therapies to patients.
