DarioHealth has expanded its chronic care platform by integrating Beluga Health’s network of licensed healthcare providers, enabling members to receive medical evaluations, prescriptions for FDA-approved GLP-1 medications when clinically appropriate, and ongoing clinical oversight within the same platform. Previously focused on digital engagement, nutrition guidance, behavioral coaching, and remote monitoring for GLP-1 users, Dario now delivers an end-to-end care experience that combines digital and clinical services.
The launch comes as employers and health plans shift from broad GLP-1 reimbursement toward clinically managed models that emphasize appropriate prescribing and long-term chronic disease management. The program will be offered through three commercial channels: Dario’s MyDario Shop direct-to-consumer platform, health plan marketplaces, and employer B2B2C programs. Employers can also leverage cost-sharing options through an Rx savings card for obesity treatment. Across all channels, anonymized member interactions will feed Dario’s DarioIQ™ AI engine, enabling continuous optimization of patient outcomes and healthcare cost savings. Clinical eligibility and prescribing decisions will remain exclusively under licensed healthcare providers, following FDA labeling, evidence-based guidelines, and applicable regulations.
