DarioHealth Presents ADA Data Highlighting Clinical and Economic Value of Sustained Digital Engagement

Overview

  • DarioHealth presented four studies at the ADA Scientific Sessions, adding to 27 studies presented at ADA over eight years.
  • The data showed improvements in hospitalization rates, weight loss, and glycemic control across high-risk cardiometabolic populations.
  • The findings support Dario’s strategy to expand toward outcomes-driven and claims-based healthcare models for payers, employers, and other enterprise customers.

The News

DarioHealth presented four studies at the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions demonstrating the clinical and economic impact of sustained engagement with its digital cardiometabolic platform. Across the findings, Dario reported 6.4% weight loss with its digital intervention alone and 14.3% weight loss when combined with GLP-1 therapy at 12 months. Additionally, 44.8% of high-risk diabetes users achieved at least a 1% reduction in eA1c, while participants experienced 0.23 fewer hospitalizations per patient per year versus controls.

The findings add to 27 studies presented by Dario at ADA over the past eight years and support its strategy to move closer to care through outcomes-driven and claims-based models. The company said its AI-powered engagement engine, connected devices, and human coaching can improve outcomes across diabetes, hypertension, and obesity while reducing the complexity of managing multiple point solutions.

Industry Perspective

As healthcare buyers increasingly prioritize measurable outcomes and cost reduction, digital health companies are facing growing pressure to demonstrate real-world clinical and economic value. Integrated cardiometabolic platforms that address multiple chronic conditions and reduce avoidable healthcare utilization are becoming increasingly relevant to payers and employers.

Strategic Impact

The ADA data strengthens DarioHealth’s case for expanding beyond traditional digital engagement toward outcomes-based healthcare models. Demonstrated improvements across utilization, weight management, and glycemic control could help the company deepen its relationships with enterprise buyers and participate more directly in the value generated through improved patient outcomes.
