The News

Noom and b.well have introduced Noom Health Record Connect, an optional feature that allows Medicare members to securely link their electronic health records to the Noom app after identity verification through CLEAR. Using clinical data, including diagnoses, medications, and lab results, Noom delivers personalized programs, educational content, GLP-1 support, blood glucose tracking, and health coaching tailored to each member’s needs.

The integration is powered by b.well’s nationwide health data network, connecting more than 2.4 million providers, 350 health plans, laboratories, and other healthcare organizations. Alongside the launch, Noom is offering new Medicare members a free 30-day trial of its Weight program and announced it has received the DiMe Seal, recognizing its standards for clinical quality, privacy, security, and usability.

Industry Perspective

Healthcare organizations are increasingly leveraging interoperability and AI to create more personalized digital health experiences. Secure access to electronic health records enables digital care platforms to deliver more relevant interventions while supporting broader initiatives to improve data portability and patient-centered care.

Strategic Impact

The partnership strengthens Noom’s connected care ecosystem by integrating verified clinical data into its behavior change platform. Combined with its participation in the CMS Health Technology Ecosystem, the initiative enhances Noom’s position in AI-powered digital health while expanding personalized care for the growing Medicare population.
