Remepy has reported positive Phase IIa clinical trial results for Hybridopa, a Hybrid Drug that combines standard levodopa therapy with DopApp, a personalized AI-powered digital therapeutic for Parkinson’s disease. Conducted in collaboration with Reichman University, the three-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study enrolled 41 patients aged 45–80 receiving stable doses of levodopa. Hybridopa met its primary endpoint, with patients achieving a 9.7-point reduction in MDS-UPDRS Parts I–III scores versus a 1.95-point reduction in the control group (p=0.0005). Additionally, 90% of participants receiving Hybridopa achieved clinically meaningful improvements, while functional MRI scans revealed enhanced connectivity in motor and limbic brain circuits, providing mechanistic evidence supporting the therapy’s benefits. The results, published in Brain Communications, also showed that greater engagement with the digital intervention correlated with improved clinical outcomes. Building on these findings, Remepy plans to initiate a pivotal Phase III trial in H2 2026, positioning Hybridopa as one of the most advanced drug-software combination therapies in development.
